Banana Bread Pudding



6 C Day Old French or Italian Bread - cubed
1/4 C Butter - melted
4 Eggs
1 1/2 C Milk
1 C Heavy Cream
1/2 C Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Vanilla
1 C Sliced and/or mashed bananas
1/2 C Chocolate Chips


Place cubed bread in a large bowl, pour melted butter on top and stir coating the bread. Set aside.

In a medium sized bowl mix eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt & vanilla until
well blended.

Spray or lightly grease a 9 x 13 baking dish. Place bread in dish and pour over egg mixture, patting down bread
allow to sit for 20 minutes or so until the bread soaks up the liquid.

Bake @ 350 for 50 - 60 minutes. Serve with maple syrup
